🏭 Attendance and Payroll Software for Manufacturing Units

In a factory, one shop floor often has workers paid by piece, by day and by month, working across day and night shifts. LabourFlow ERP brings attendance, production and payroll together so wages are worked out from recorded data and not from scattered registers and Excel sheets. This page explains how factory attendance and payroll usually go wrong, and how a connected system helps.

Why factory attendance and payroll get complicated

A typical manufacturing unit does not have one wage model. Skilled operators may be on monthly salary, helpers on daily wages, and line workers on piece-rate. Add night shifts, overtime, advances and rejected pieces, and the month-end calculation becomes slow and easy to dispute.

When attendance sits in one register, production counts in another and advances in a notebook, someone has to join them by hand every month. That is where most errors enter.

How LabourFlow ERP captures attendance on the shop floor

Attendance can be recorded in the way that suits your unit, and you can mix methods across departments.

Calculating wages for piece, daily and monthly workers

LabourFlow ERP supports piece-rate, daily and monthly wage models, and a hybrid payroll for units that use more than one. Production can be tracked by factory, department, shift, machine and operator, with rejection and scrap logged, and supervisors can fill a daily grid even in offline mode, which syncs in the background.

For contractors, the piece-rate engine does a 3-way calculation: customer price, worker rate and contractor margin. For example, if a worker makes 400 pieces at ₹2 a piece, the piece-rate earning is ₹800 before any deductions or rejections. The system does this arithmetic from approved production entries so it is not redone manually.

Payouts, access and statutory checks

Bulk payouts run through RazorpayX from your own RazorpayX account. LabourFlow ERP does not hold your money. Worker data such as Aadhaar (shown masked) and bank details is handled with role-based access, and workers should be informed and give consent for data collection.

Minimum wages, PF / ESI, overtime rules and the new Labour Codes differ by state and change over time. Please confirm your wage and deduction settings with a labour-law consultant or CA.
