QR code check-in for weddings and events
Every guest who confirms gets a personal entry pass with a QR code. At the gate, your team opens the check-in desk on any phone, scans the QR (or searches the name) and enters how many people arrived. The dashboard shows live arrivals against the expected count.

Why check-in helps
- The caterer sees real arrivals and can pace the food.
- You know who came for the thank-you messages and gifts.
- Next time, the attendance estimate uses your real turnout, not a guess.
On the day: a smooth gate
- Keep one or two phones at the entrance with the desk open and the right function selected (Mehndi, Wedding or Reception).
- Families show the QR from their WhatsApp message or invitation page; the desk shows their name and how many said they would come, so you type the number who actually arrived.
- Walk-in guests are added by name in one tap, so the arrival count stays complete.
- The caterer report updates with arrivals, so the kitchen can pace the second round of food.
Share the desk link only with your gate team: it shows guest names and the last digits of their phone numbers.
How to set it up
- Open the event and the "Check-in & caterer" tab.
- Share the check-in desk link with the gate team (only them).
- Choose the function (Mehndi, Wedding, Reception) on the desk.
- Scan passes; add walk-ins by name.
Create your event: start with ₹99 for 25 invitations
Questions
Do guests need to print the pass?
No. They show the QR on their phone. Elders can just say their name; the desk searches by name or the last digits of the phone.
What if a pass is scanned twice?
The desk warns that the family is already checked in and shows how many came.
