How to collect wedding RSVPs on WhatsApp (without 500 phone calls)
Send each guest a WhatsApp invitation with three buttons: "Yes, coming", "Maybe" and "Can't come". When they tap, WhatsApp asks how many people are coming, which functions they will attend and veg or non-veg, and every answer lands on one dashboard. No app for guests, no forms to fill.

Why verbal "haan, aayenge" is not an RSVP
In Indian weddings most confirmations happen on calls, at family functions or in a forwarded group message. Nobody writes them down in one place, numbers change every week, and the family ends up guessing the catering count on the last day. A written answer per family, with a number of people and a food choice, is what caterers actually need.
How the WhatsApp RSVP works, step by step
- Make the event. Name, date, venue, and functions such as Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet, Wedding and Reception.
- Add the guest list. Paste from Excel or phone contacts, or upload a file: name, number, how many people the invitation is for, family group and side (bride / groom).
- Press "Send to everyone". Each guest gets a personal WhatsApp invitation with three buttons.
- WhatsApp asks the follow-up questions. How many are coming, which functions, veg / non-veg. Typed answers like "3 of us" work too.
- Reminders go by themselves. Families who did not reply get a gentle reminder; families who said yes are asked to reconfirm a few days before.
- Watch the dashboard. Coming, maybe, can't come and no reply, per function, with an estimate of plates.
What guests see
A normal WhatsApp message from the family (or from your own WhatsApp Business number) with buttons. They do not install anything. Each guest also has a personal link to change the answer later and an entry pass QR for the gate. If plans change, they reply CHANGE.
Good practice
- Invite only people who know you; anyone who replies STOP never gets another message.
- Put the whole family on one invitation and set "people" to the number invited (for example 4).
- Set a reply-by date two to three weeks before the wedding so the caterer gets a firm count.
- Keep elders who do not use WhatsApp on the list without a number and mark their answer yourself after a call.

Questions
Do guests need to install an app?
No. They answer inside WhatsApp with buttons, or on a simple web page from the link in the message.
Can a guest change the answer?
Yes. They reply CHANGE on WhatsApp or open their personal link. The dashboard updates at once and counts the change.
Can I send from my own number?
Yes. If you have a WhatsApp Business number connected with us, invitations go from it. Otherwise they go from our invitation number in your family's name, or you can send each one from your own phone with one tap.
Is it only for weddings?
No. Engagements, birthdays, housewarmings, pujas, store openings, seminars and office parties work the same way.
