A worked example
An office party with 120 people confirmed, 20 maybe and 40 who have not replied, using 90%, 50% and 30%: 120 × 0.9 = 108, 20 × 0.5 = 10, 40 × 0.3 = 12, so the likely headcount is 130. With a 5% buffer, plan food for about 137. Chasing the 40 who did not answer turns that guess into facts.
How it calculates
Likely headcount = confirmed × yes share + maybe × maybe share + no reply × no-reply share. The range moves each share down and up. These shares are planning assumptions, not facts; change them to match your own events. InviteCount learns your real turnout when you use QR check-in.

Questions
Which shares should I use?
Start with 90% of confirmed, 50% of maybe and 30% of no reply, then adjust from your own past events.
Is the result a guarantee?
No. It is an estimate to plan with; confirmed is not the same as attending.
